Gerard began working at Optis Insurance as an Account Executive in the London Office in 2019. Prior to this, he had worked as a Director at Citynet Insurance Brokers since 2002. With over 40 years of experience in the insurance industry, Gerard has held various positions at Kininmonth Ltd, McDonagh, Boland Crotty MacRedmond (Aon), and Coyle Hamilton (Willis) in both Dublin and London.
He started his career in retail in Dublin before moving to London to focus on wholesaling, leveraging his extensive cross-channel relationships.
In his free time, Gerard enjoys travelling and all sports, particularly his beloved Manchester United.
