In February 2021, Carmel Moynagh became a member of the Optis Insurance team. She entered the insurance industry in 1996, where she spent 17 years working for Quinn-Direct Insurance.

Following a hiatus from the field, Carmel now serves as an Assistant Underwriter for Commercial Combined and Motor Fleet DUAs. When she’s not at work, she enjoys taking long nature walks, dancing, and spending quality time with loved ones.

Sinead started her insurance underwriting career in 2001 at Quinn Insurance in Ireland and the UK. After 9 years there, she moved to another UK company before joining Citynet Insurance Brokers in 2014. Following PIB’s acquisition of Citynet, she transitioned to Optis Insurance.

With more than 20 years of experience and expertise in Property and Liability underwriting in both Ireland and the UK, Sinead brings a wealth of knowledge to her role.

When she’s not working, Sinead enjoys travelling, cooking, and spending time with her family.

Dublin born, Clare O’Neill joined Optis Insurance in 2019, when Optis opened its London branch. Due to Brexit, Citynet’s Irish team moved over to Optis Insurance. Clare joined Citynet in 2016. She began her insurance underwriting journey in 2001 when she accepted the trainee underwriter role for FBD Insurance in Ireland, working there for 15 years.

With her, Clare brings 20+ years of experience and knowledge in Property, Liability, Motor, and Farm insurance underwriting, both in Ireland and the UK.

As Optis’s Underwriting Manager, Clare is charged with developing and growing the Commercial Combined and Liability DUA’s and oversees the day-to-day running of her department ensuring it maintains its high standards of service to Optis’s wide broker network clients.

Away from her desk, Clare enjoys travelling, sports, social networking and her motto in life is: “Everything happens for a reason”
