Caroline has been a part of the Optis Insurance team since January 2023 as a Trading Underwriter facilitating brokers with Optis’ wide range of products and providing professional advice.

She has over 20 years of experience working as an Insurance Broker for corporate brokers and family-run brokers. During this time, she has been providing businesses and individuals with the best insurance and advice for their needs. Caroline has obtained qualifications as a Certified Insurance Practitioner and Professional Diploma in Finance Advice, she has many areas of expertise.

Outside work, Caroline enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Cathal Dempsey joined Optis Insurance in 2014 having returned home to Trim after traveling Australia for three years. Prior to jetting off down under, he had worked in his uncle’s brokerage from 2005.

Cathal started out as an account handler, mainly looking after the Property Owners & Real Estate scheme, although, in recent years his role has evolved to include binder management, product management, and governance.

In his spare time, Cathal enjoys socialising, designing websites, and playing Rugby. Due to his love for the sport he has become the Secretary of his local rugby club.
