George Lee joined the Optis team at the start of 2025 as an Account Executive in the Professional Risks division. He brings valuable experience across Professional Risks, Technology, Cyber, and Construction, as well as a background in underwriting – expertise gained during his time with a well-established Lloyd’s Broker.

Outside work, George plays for his local rugby club, is an keen golfer, and enjoys socialising over good food and a few drinks with friends.

Gerard began working at Optis Insurance as an Account Executive in the London Office in 2020. Prior to this, he had worked as a Director at Citynet Insurance Brokers since 2002. With over 40 years of experience in the insurance industry, Gerard has held various positions at Kininmonth Ltd, McDonagh, Boland Crotty MacRedmond (Aon), and Coyle Hamilton (Willis) in both Dublin and London.

He started his career in retail in Dublin before moving to London to focus on wholesaling, leveraging his extensive cross-channel relationships.

In his free time, Gerard enjoys travelling and all sports, particularly his beloved Manchester United.
