Main Purpose of the Job:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the renewal process for an existing book of commercial business for a portfolio of retail brokers. The role will involve close co-operation with internal Account Executives and a panel of underwriters to deliver a best-in-class client experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure processes are in place to ensure the timely placement of renewal risks in compliance with Group and Regulatory requirements and procedures.
- Liaise with internal and external underwriters to secure placement terms for policies as required.
- Provide advice to client brokers in relation to the scope of cover and policy terms and conditions as appropriate.
- Ensure accurate and timely provision of policy and supporting documentation to clients.
- Maintenance of Client Technical files.
- Accurate entry of policy and financial data into various broking software platforms.

- Highly motivated and ability to work under own initiative and as part of a team.
- Constructive and supportive working style.
- Computer literate including MS Office and experience utilising other software systems.
Desirable Criteria
- APA/CIP qualification – held or working towards.
- Previous experience in commercial lines insurance.
- Experience of the insurance renewal process.
- Knowledge of the London Market placement process.
